WHA STANDING COMMITTEES


There are four categories of Committees in the Association: Standing Committees for WHA Operations, Ad Hoc Committees, Standing Committees for WHA Planning and Finances, and Award Committees. Except as otherwise provided, Council shall establish such Standing Committees and Ad Hoc committees as are needed to assist in conducting the affairs of the Association. Members of the Standing Committees for WHA Operations must have current membership in the Association.


STANDING COMMITTEES FOR WHA OPERATIONS

  • Mary Mendoza (Penn State University), Committee on Race in the American West Chair
  • Stephen Hausmann (Appalachian State University), Committee on Contingent and Adjunct Faculty Chair

STANDING COMMITTEES FOR WHA PLANNING & FINANCES

The President shall appoint committee members to the Standing Committees for WHA Planning and Finances and Award Committees. Award Committee members shall have one term of three years. Members of the Program Committees and Award Committees must have current membership in the Association. The President may also create and appoint members to Ad Hoc Committees as needed for the Association.
