2020 Donations

This year the WHA is asking for donations to its general fund. With an excepted budget shortfall for 2020, all funds will go toward covering the costs of WHA operations (in particular staff retention) and costs for printing, shipping, and technology. Any additional funds will be allocated for future initiatives that support graduate students, contingent faculty, K-12 teachers, and public history.

Support the WHA Today!

Each year the Western History Association awards thousands of dollars to scholars, authors, public historians, students, teachers, editors, and publishers. These awards and honors are possible through the generosity of friends, family, and members of the western history community.

The WHA also accepts donations to the organization's operations ("WHA General Fund") and the Graduate Student Meal Fund (GSMF) year-round. Donation's to the General Fund allow the WHA to expand its programs and initiatives through staff growth and institutional sponsorships. The GSMF provides students with the opportunity to receive complimentary tickets to conference meals and events. The WHA urges you to consider donating to this fund to support student attendance and involvement in the organization.

We thank you in advance for your consideration and support. Please contact our office if you have any questions.
