The National Council on Public History (NCPH) has opened the Call for Proposals for our 2027 Annual Meeting, taking place April 21-24, 2027, in St. Louis, Missouri. The meeting theme, “Holding the Line,” asks us how we, as practitioners, can confront a moment of repression and resistance in the places where we work and live.
We offer the opportunity to submit preliminary topic proposals for constructive feedback before the final deadline. These preliminary proposals should be submitted by May 5, 2026. These proposals are for potential sessions, working groups, or workshops. To submit your proposal draft or learn more details about this process, check out: https://ncph.org/conference/ncph-2027/call-for-proposals/topic-proposal-submission-form/
