We Want More History! 

Help Make History Visible This September
People care deeply about history. This September 25–27, communities across the country will have an opportunity to demonstrate just how much during We Want More History!, a nationwide weekend of history programming.

Museums, libraries, archives, colleges and universities, historic sites, historical societies, community organizations, and many others are planning talks, tours, exhibits, classroom activities, open houses, and other public programs that connect people with history.

You can participate by organizing an event, incorporating the weekend into your teaching, volunteering your expertise, or attending a program in your community. Already have a history-related event planned for September 25–27? Add it to the national event calendar.
